Meet the Herd
Every horse has a story.
Every horse changes lives.
Long before a rider finds confidence, one of our horses has already chosen patience, trust, and kindness. Each member of our herd brings a unique personality, history, and gift to the riders they serve.
Scroll down to meet the remarkable horses behind Dream Catcher Stables.
They don’t know they’re changing lives.
They don’t understand therapy goals or lesson plans. They don’t know when a rider is celebrating a personal milestone or overcoming a fear that has taken years to face.
They simply show up—day after day—with quiet patience, steady hearts, and a willingness to carry someone who needs them.
Every horse in our herd has a unique personality, and every one has become an important partner in helping children and adults with disabilities build confidence, independence, and hope.
We’d love to introduce you to them.
Charlie
Though I come from fast horses, I've discovered that slowing down changes more lives.

…is a horse who gives their whole heart.
Every single day.

Sometimes…
they simply carry us forward.
My Breed
Quarter Horse

Our stories are different.
Our purpose is the same.
To help someone believe in themselves.
What Makes a Great Adaptive Riding Horse?
Not every wonderful horse is suited for Adaptive Riding.
The horses in our program are selected for qualities that can’t be measured by ribbons or bloodlines. They must be patient, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working alongside riders with many different abilities.
Every horse is an individual, but they all share one thing in common:
They genuinely enjoy caring for people.
